Unfortunaly, most people do not think the was some other do. Today I saw someone working on there yard, and making it what they call beautiful. When will we learn that todays practice of a pretty lawn and flower bed is not helping our planet out.
I watch as they spread chemicals (non organic fertilizers and weed killers and preventers) around the yard, and start to think how good is that for the water supply. I watch as they spread their store bought mulch with 12 months of color? What do they use for coloring, I looked at the bag and could not find any list of ingredients. Now imagine, you are on a well system or you get your water from a lake, because we all get our water from somewhere. All those chemicals are seeping into the ground and into our water supply.
We all understand today, the water does not always come out of the tap clean, so what are we to do, buy water from the store? Because that seams rediculas to me, not to mention the plastic it comes in and how much of that we are injesting.
